Gabriela Hernandez

Gabriela Hernandez is a dedicated mental health clinician with over four years of professional
experience working with children and families and has spent about 7 years developing sills as a mental
health profession practicing interviewing, testing, and providing crisis intervention strategies. Gabriela
will be administering cognitive and diagnostic assessments and will work as a Sub Investigator/Rater for
our clinical research studies.
Gabriela currently works as a school based mental health specialist for the Imperial County Office of
Education full time and will be working with our office part time/per diem.
Gabriela is licensed as an associate marriage and family therapist and an associate professional clinical
counselor. She received her Master of Arts, M.A. Clinical Counseling with an MFT emphasis from Palo
Alto University, California in November 2021 and various other trainings and certificates the past few
years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Child Psychology from Centro de Esenanza Técnica y Superior
in Mexicali, BC Mexico in June 2017.
